APAC MLearning Conference 2011, a regional scale event on mobile industry organized by CommTech Asia will be held in Bandung on June 8-9, 2011. Claiming as the “it” mobile learning and edutainment event, it will be held at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Jalan Sumatra 51 Bandung and invites two main speakers Prof. John Traxler, Profesor Mobile Learning from University of Wolverhampton, Inggris, and Dr. Serkan Toto and independent consultant on web and mobile industry from Japan and correspondent for TechCrunch.
The speakers will give updates on the latest developments in mobile industry, best practice and industry commercialization, which are a lot faster than development of web based industry itself. And that mobile industry is the future industry, of course we are all believers. What I find interesting in this conference are “Cashless Payment, Mobile Payment and Mobile Commerce” and “Fusion of Edutainment in Mobile Music, Games and TV Development”.
Everyone who’s interesting to learn more of mobile world and wireless networks are welcome to attend this conference. Personally I think Dr. Serkan Toto will be attracting more attendees. He is miles from being a stranger in startups world in Asia and he will be sharing his knowledge and experience. If you are interested, you can visit here for further info on the registration, special fee applied for students/college students.
This is the first APAC MLearning to be held outside of Malaysia. The same event was held previously in 2007, 2008, and 2009. After one year off, the conference is back and will be held in Bandung. It’s also part of APAC MLearning spirit to be more “regional” according the Asia Pacific words in its name.
