Migme, previously mig33, has just announced its concrete partnership with both Universal Music Indonesia (UMI) and Smartfren. The partnership would enable Migme to activate at least two artists per month by making use of its platform that has already gathered around 5 million of active users so far. At the moment, Migme has already been pre-loaded on Smartfren’s Andromax C3 series.
Further, Migme, which has been registered at the Australia Stock Exchange, announced that UMI’s artists may utilize Migme to promote their music and video, have photo-sharing session, and other social media stuffs. Each and every activation will involve the revenue sharing gained from the sales of virtual goods. In addition, Migme also announced a partnership with Smartfren, which allows its app to be pre-loaded on 700.000 units of Smartfren’s Andromax C3. Besides having an MoU with Smartfren, Migme has also collaborated with Nexian/Spice Global and Trikomsel to distribute its platform to even many more devices, including to have access to 1200 of Trikomsel-based stores all over Indonesia.
Indonesia is the most important Android market to Migme, aside from Taiwan. In this regard, no wonder if Migme wants to give best solution to Indonesian consumers by providing a number of beneficial features, like a special interface which uses Indonesian as its default language.
