migme Partners with Doku to Provide Selection of Payment Methods

migme messaging service provider has just announced the establishment of a partnership with Doku payment solution which enables migme users using Doku to buy credits that can be exchanged with various virtual items. The purchase may be done via Internet Banking, ATM transfer, Alfa mini mart network, or Doku Wallet. Doku is currently one of largest online payment service providers in Indonesia which has had more than 2000 merchants as its partners.

Steven Goh, migme’s CEO mentioned in his press release, “We are extremely glad to add Doku to our line of services. With Doku, Indonesian migme users would have more payment options, including via internet banking, ATM transfer (which covers all ATM networks in Indonesia: ATM Bersama, Prima, and Alto), mini mart (in more than 9,000 Alfa group stores) and Doku Wallet that has already had 90,000 active users.”

Thong Sennelius, Doku’s CEO, added, “We welcome migme as our partner and expect to add even more payment options ahead, as we attempt to broaden our business coverage in Indonesia. That being said, we look to present more various, secure, and convenient payment methods.”

Users may purchase the credit directly from migme or via migme’s agents (merchant).

migme is indeed being aggressive in adding more partnership to reach more and more users in Indonesia. As of today, Indonesian users are still migme’s top of the list. migme, which is based in Singapore, has gone IPO in the Australia Stock Exchange by using the reverse takeover scheme. The platform has gathered a group of Indonesian talents in its engineering team which is responsible to lead the development of migme’s services in Indonesia.

Prior partnering with Doku, migme had already had forged partnership with a number of companies, i.e Smartfren, Spice Global (Nexian), and Trikomsel Oke. To enrich its content, migme also partners with Universal Music Indonesia. Ever since the platform got re-branded as migme, Android has always been its preferred operating system.
