Fujitsu’s Digitization and Data Management Enters Indonesia

Fujitsu presented a digital data management solution to accelerate businesses in Indonesia. The tech, named Digitization & Data Management for corporates, was inaugurated for Indonesian market last Wednesday (18/3).

Being introduced by Fujitsu Indonesia’s Managing Director Achmad S. Sofwan, this solution is expected to improve the effectiveness and save more operational cost, considering the vast growth of cloud and higher demand on mobility in banking, governance, and education industry.

The launching was attended by Fujitsu Asia’s Assistant VP Yasunori Miyauchi, who delivered about how automation in business processes and information documents have transformed significantly due to the digitization.One of his solutions was to produce a device that may scan hard copies into soft copies.

This solution enables printed documents to be turned directly into working documents, like Microsoft Word, instead of being translated into image or PDF files which cannot be edited.

“The data explosion that comes along with the rapid growth of businesses needs to be accommodated with smart and efficient data management system to support faster and easier access to business data and information, as well as high quality protection,” Sofwan claimed.

Fujitsu has been acting as an IT, communication and business solution provider in Indonesia ever since its entrance in 1995. The compay claimed that it has secured 40% of scanning devices market in Indonesia. This is accompanied with digitalized information access and management trend. According to a data by the Association of Information and Image Management (AIIM), there has been 30% of productivity increase at companies as the impact of the absence of printed and paper-based communication.

“The Digitization and Data Management that Fujitsu offers have been successful in supporting Indonesian companies so that they could provide information access without any geographic barriers, as well as facilitating the establishment of inter-business collaboration to reach high business productivity and efficiency,” Miyauchi ended.
