Joy Wahyudi Departs from Indosat Ooredoo

Indosat Ooredoo’s President Director and CEO, Joy Wahyudi, is officially resigned from his position due to a personal matter. In the official release, Ooredoo Group and Indosat Ooredoo ensure the leader shift is going well without disturbing any ongoing projects or business.

Wahyudi has been appointed as Indosat Ooredoo’s CEO since November 2017. The resignation has been submitted since August 2018 and keep working on his job during the transition.

“The change of leadership meets the company plan for an important transformation program in order to support penetration towards Indonesia’s telecommunication market.”

Indosat Ooredoo to announce the new leader with the transformation program on October 17 concurred to the Extraordinary General Meeting (RUPSLB).

“Our sincere gratitude to Mr. Joy Wahyudi for his valuable contribution during his leadership at the helm of Indosat Ooredo. We work with him to run a smooth transition. This is an exciting period for the telecommunication sector with significant structural changes which creates an amazing opportunity for growth,” Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, Ooredoo’s CEO explained.
