HIJUP's Try & Pay feature is now available in all over Indonesia

HIJUP Launches “Try & Pay” Feature to Acquire New Customers

HIJUP fashion commerce has launched the latest feature for customers called Try & Pay. It is now available in all over Indonesia, allowing customers to try the purchased products before paying it.

In the trial, customers have 15 minutes, if it’s already meet the customer’s expectation, items can be directly paid using cash or debit card.

HIJUP hits the highest customer record (39 percent) dominated by housewives. Most of them are not confident when it comes to online shopping – worrying about the size, etc. Due to family issues, they often have no time to shop and visit HIJUP stores.

To date, HIJUP owns 8 offline stores in Indonesia’s big cities (Jakarta, Padang, Lombok, Palembang, Makassar, Bandung, Pekanbaru, and Samarinda). HIJUP has also arrived in Malaysia followed by the plan to build an offline store in London, England.

“Currently, service is valid only on weekdays. In the future, this feature should be available every day and in other countries. The service was made based on customer’s demands and busy hours of shopping for fashion items. It’s also supported with all the data we have,” Andhara Early, HIJUP’s Head of Public Relation, said.

Approach to online-to-offline fashion commerce in Indonesia

Despite having a different name, HIJUP’s Try & Pay was introduced before by B2C fashion commerce, Sale Stock. In this service, users are welcome to try clothes after the courier arrived on location. They can also return the product if it doesn’t match and pay only for the suitable ones.

Aiming to acquire more customers, the “Try First, Buy Later” (CDBB) feature of Sale Stock, is claimed to be the most favorite feature in its platform. HIJUP expects the same. Even in the e-commerce landscape, the O2O concept is continually being explored by players to optimize market potential.
