BCA Launches “OneKlik” Online Payment Service

BCA officially launches OneKlik as an online payment solution in merchant app. Previously, this service was established [pilot] in early 2018 partnering with Blibli.

“Public is now in high demand for online shopping, through our latest innovation, OneKlik, we believe to increase public convenience in making online payment,” Armand Hartono, BCA’s Vice President Director said.

He defines OneKlik as an Application Programming Interface (API-based) innovation to complete another BCA API features, such as online transfer, balance inquiry, account mutation, virtual account, and others.

Since its establishment in early 2017, BCA’s API has been claimed by around 400 business client with major users working in fintech and e-commerce industry.

The company will focus the business clients with the highest transaction as OneKlik partners for beginning. Currently, there are only four partners, Shopee, Bukalapak, Blibli, and Go-Pay.

“We want to approach partners with the highest transaction [using BCA] for beginning,” Henry Koenaifi, BCA’s Director explained.

Henry avoid to mention any further detail related to the target revenue the company can gain from its latest service.

OneKlik is a solution that allows customers to pay at merchant in one click away. They only have to register the funding source from BCA debit card, set the daily shopping limit (currently up to Rp1 million), and input the OTP.

Later, OneKlik can directly be used for payment. There’s no need to re-enter OTP while making payment. When the payment screen popped up, select OneKlik, and it’s done.

Although OTP is no longer needed, BCA ensures OneKlik’s layered security. One funding source can only connect to one merchant app, and one account can only connect to one funding source.

In terms of daily transaction, it is limited to avoid overshopping, and keep the account safe from irresponsible parties.

On the same occasion, participated also Chris Feng as Shopee’s CEO. He explained, OneKlik is a company’s commitment to improve platform’s performance by making new innovation for customers. Including to intensify partnership to offer various payment options.

“Shopee is welcome to the collaboration with BCA in the latest payment method launching, OneKlik. We look forward to the next event in providing more options and easy shopping for all Shopee users,” he added.
