BlackBerry is Offering Echelon Participants a Chance to Exhibit in Echelon Startup Marketplace

BlackBerry is partnering with Echelon this year and in doing so will be providing Echelon startups with an opportunity to exhibit their apps and services alongside BlackBerry at the Startup Marketplace during Echelon 2013 which is happening in 4-5 June. For startups looking to increase exposure and to meet up with investors, innovators, government relations, tech companies, and fellow entrepreneurs, this would be an opportunity too great to miss.

Selected developers and startups will receive a significant discount in participation cost at the Startup Marketplace as well as paid accommodation for up to two people for two nights in Singapore.

To qualify for the offer, developers need to submit their apps to the organizers through the Echelon BlackBerry page. The apps don’t need to be existing BlackBerry 10 apps but developers will need to port their apps to BB10 or build a version for BB10 if it cannot be ported. Additionally, developers need to be based in Asia Pacific.

BlackBerry will select 30 current and past Echelon participants to join the company at Echelon. Selected Echelon alumni will receive a SGD 500 subsidy in registration cost, which means it will cost only SGD 250 to participate on the Marketplace. For startups participating in the 2013 satellite events or already eligible for the main event, registration cost will be waived entirely.

For past and present Echelon participants without a live BlackBerry 10 app, you can register to join BlackBerry’s booth on this page. For those with a live app on BlackBerry World, this page is for you.

Also, if you’re not an Echelon participant but would like to attend the event, you can use our promo link to receive a 10% discount upon registration.
