Gogonesia Goes for New Look

Gogonesia is reportedly ready to launch its latest version of website early next month. With severa;l updates in UI and UX, the team look to provide users more convenience and velocity in booking trip tickets and travel packages.

The maneuver was taken to appreciate old users while netting many more users. Gogonesia’s General Manager Melieyana Tjioe claimed that Gogonesia is the largest online travel reservation portal in Indonesia.

She told DailySocial:

“Gogonesia is the largest online travel reservation portal in Indonesia. We provide more than 1200 activities and tours from more tha 250 partners, who cover 85 tourism spots all over Indonesia.”

Further, she stated that Gogonesia has yet had the resources to be available in form of mobile app. In exchange, the team are working hard in optimizing the services for various available platforms.

Going for B2B

Gogonesia is one of Ideabox’s second batch finalists that will compete in the next Demo Day. One of its features is to provide tourism packages at special rate. The platform has been available in new look, while preparing more segmented marketing and partnership strategies to win the Demo Day.

Aside from its current business model, which involves incentives out of each transaction, Gogonesia is seeking for an expansion which touches the B2B (Business to Business) sector. According to Tjioe, Gogonesia needs more talents to move it forward. Thus, the team is ready to welcome new Travel Consultants, Strategic partnership, and Digital Marketing.

The Indonesian Government has planned to allocate $ 1 billion for tourism and Gogonesia is one of those who bridge trourists to tourism businesses through their digital solution.

“We are aware that most of tour guides are still offline with manual reservation system. We want to facilitate them in getting online exposure so that they could enjoy bigger revenue,” Tjioe concluded.
