After losing Krishna Zulkarnain, the previous Country Marketing Manager, less than a month ago, Google Indonesia once again lost one of management board’s key persons, Country Manager Rudy Ramawy, due to personal excuses. Currently, the international titan is looking for his replacement.
According to an information, Ramawy will focus more on his family and we have yet discovered about what he’s going to do next. He had been Google’s Country Director for three good years, after previously getting involved in media, music, and telecommunication industry.
During his reign at Google Indonesia, he got heavily involved in communicating and collaborating Google’s services in order to make them more familiar to Indonesians. Some of products which were launched during his leadership were Peta Banjir Jakarta 2014 and Portal Pemilu Indonesia 2014.
On its page, Google Indonesia describes that a Country Manager would be responsible in:
- Organizing the operations in Indonesia, including the development and execution of strategies
- Building ads marketing operational capability to provide premium services for Google’s main advertisers
- Contributing strategically to product growth and development as well as Google services in the area
- Ensuring that product launching is successfully communicated in local market
- Building positive relations with senior officers at ads agencies and ads clients; and meeting the business growth target in Indonesia
