MindTalk releases new promo video

Between the end of May and the early June, Twitter timeline was enlivened by a new social media named MindTalk. Then in September, Danny Oey Wirianto that was the Chief Marketing Officer of Kaskus officially resigned. He is said to be focus on his new company named MindTalk as the co-founder and CEO.

In these last few days on Facebook and Twitter, Danny starts to introduce MindTalk by sharing a video (advertisement) with a concept that, in my opinion, is impressing. Danny also promoted this video for several time on official GEPI (Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia) Facebook Group.

So, what makes Danny established MindTalk? From his explanation in a post on MindTalk, there are some points he stated:

· Why there is no Indoensian establish a social media that is available for Indonesian themselves or for foreigner?
· Why there is no device available to help people make a group that is fun and easy to manage.
· Why there is only BBM Group available? Why there is no platform collaborates Nokia, iPhone, Android, M2K (Nexian) and PC users to have an integrated group?
· Why there is no place to share our mind, not only status or personality, but it is more about what we think?
· Why not?

I remember exactly that was in the end of May to the early of June, people discussed about this social media and in droves tried it out. After that, coming a new social media developed by Google named Google+. Internet enthusiasts in the world, including in Indonesia, try to use it in droves. What will happen then? Will this video help MindTalk’s publicity and add users’ number?

Frankly speaking, I personally seldom access MindTalk. For me, (it might be a suggestion for MindTalk), its UX is unfriendly and the UI is not fresh enough to see.
