Besides, if there was an option of sub-area (for example, Jimbaran and Kuta for Bali), PegiPegi does not put them under the Bali menu.
Based on the information given on its web pages, PegiPegi is made by PT. Go Online Destinations. Amir once said that PegiPegi is a part of AMG (Alternative Media Group). One of AMG’s popular subsidiaries is Focus Media Indonesia that builds some advertising spots using LCD screen on some strategic places in Jakarta.
While the system used by PegiPegi is supported by online travel company from Japan, Jalan.Net. Jalan.Net is a business under Recruit, a large enterprise group engaged in human resources and information system.

With the presence of PegiPegi, business competition in online travel field will be more stringent. Previously, there were local players such as Valadoo, Jajalindo, Tiket and Travel in Seven. Several other companies from overseas such as TripAdvisor, Agoda and Wego are also consider Indonesia as a potential market so they are competing here, as well.
