Preparing Angry Birds “With Indonesia Flavour”, Rovio Opens Internship Opportunities for Indonesians

The significant role of Indonesia in the Internet world has made Rovio as a creator of popular game Angry Birds to take an action. After we heard that Angry Birds for Facebook would be publicly announced in Jakarta (as the city with the largest numbers of Facebook users in the world – according to SocialBakers), now at Valentine’s Day this February, Rovio opens an internship opportunity for Indonesians in order to prepare Angry Birds version which has Indonesian distinctive character.

The first opportunity is for the people who are interested in the Social Media. Rovio offers an internship program for 3-6 months in Rovio’s headquarters, Helsinki, Finland. The requirement are: fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral or written), understand social media and technology, pro-active, productive and certainly is a fan of Angry Birds. The interesting thing is the internship is paid (in Euro) and if the requirement is matched, there will be a possibility to be a permanent employee.

Another opportunity is to solve the challenges of the idea for ​​developing the character, Angry Birds Indonesia. This challenge was announced at the launch of Nokia Asha 300 and the winner would be given the internship opportunity in Rovio office for one week.
