Qoo10 Mobile Application Offers Shopping Convenience with Mobile-Only Features

Technology has encouraged producers to maximize their services to customers. The competition is not only in terms of pricing, but the services’ quality as well, including creating mobile apps which may ease the users to access their services from their own mobile phones. South Korean-based Qoo10 lives up the competition by launching an Android e-commerce application.

This app will make it easy for users to access Qoo10’s services. Unlike the website which looks far too cramped due to having too many images, the app presents a neatly ordered navigation structure on the left column. The Qoo10 app also delivers a few surprises by providing features that are not available on its website.

The app has Q-Events column which provides several features such as Daily Check, Rolet Q, MameQ Lucky Price, Zona Qstempel, and Sony Z2 Coupon Pack. These are only available through the mobile app and can serve as incentives to increase usage from the mobile app. Aside from Q-Events, the column also displays Deals, Specials, and Auction menus.

There is another feature called Daily Check, where users can try to win certain rewards available in certain periods. When users check this feature daily, they will get one MameQ which can be collected to maximize the chances of winning. Another feature like Rolet Q, where users can win prizes or vouchers, has been integrated successfully with Qoo.co.id website.

To access those features, users will have to register to Qoo10 which can be done through this mobile app or its website. Users may also register via Facebook to fasten the registration process.

Qoo10 itself is a product of Giosis, a joint venture company formed by eBay and Gmarket. In becoming a world class marketplace, Qoo10 aims to be the best e-commerce site in Asia Pacific and has presence in seven countries across the region including Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, South Korea, and Australia.

This app appears to be colorful and convenient. Tons of features ond offers make Qoo10 seems complicated, but actually the users will find it simple to use. However, the app still needs some fixing to be done. For example, when switching between submenus in a single page, users shouldn’t expect to have the entire page reloaded only for that function.
