Mobile Games Developer War 3 Showcased Its 15 Finalists in Malioboro Mall

Mobile Games Developer War 3, a collaboration event of Nokia Developer with Computer Students Association – Himpunan Mahasiswa Komputer (Himakom) UGM, has reached the final round. Of the total 93 participants, fifteen finalists have been selected and ready to compete in the finals to be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Malioboro Mall, Yogyakarta.

In the event that packed in the form of Jogja Game Expo, the finalists will showcase their works in front of visitors who are expected not only comprised of residents of Yogyakarta and its surroundings but also local and foreign tourists visiting Yogyakarta for the long holiday.

Vsitors also can participate in choosing their favorite game with local content. Game with the most support from the visitors will be chosen as the winner of game with the best local content category.

The participants will also present their works in front of judges and showcase visitors. The judges are Narenda Wicaksono (Nokia Developer), I Gede Mujiyatna (Lecturer of Computer Science UGM), representatives of Creacle Game Studio, Agate Studio and Gameloft (awaiting confirmation). They will select the best three participants who will then compete in the Live Coding War. In the Live Coding War, the participants are given one hour to complete the challenge from the judges to add something into the game they’ve created. From this round, winners of 1, 2, 3 places will get the prize with a total of 60 million Rupiah.

Enlight Games Studio – Waroeng Ekspres, 2nd Winner of Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War (Video)

Enlight Games explained during the first presentation on CHIP –Nokia Mobile Game Developer War last Saturday that their English free version mobile game Waroeng Ekspres reached the highest number of 800 downloads in one day.

Under AksaraGames (Aksara Studio) games studio (their current name since April 2011), Waroeng Ekspres is available on Ovi Store at least since May 20, 2011. Enlight Games is a game developer from Surabaya who participated in Mobile Game Developer War – Jogja. They were one of the Top Three and entitled to Grand Final in Jakarta, grabbed 2nd place and won Rp 20 million.

Enlight Games Studio – Waroeng Ekspres, Juara Dua Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War (Video)

Pada presentasi di acara final Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War, hari Sabtu kemarin, salah satu penjelasan dari tim Enlight Games Studio dengan mobile game mereka Waroeng Ekspres menarik perhatian saya, versi gratis dan berbahasa Inggris dari permainan mereka mencapai angka unduhan tertinggi selama satu hari sebesar 800 unduhan.

Di bawah nama studio game AksaraGames (Aksara Studio) yang merupakan nama baru dari studio pengembangan game mereka sejak bulan April 2011, Waroeng Ekspres telah tersedia di Ovi Store setidaknya sejak 20 Mei 2001 lalu. Enlight Games Studio merupakan pengembang game dari Surabaya yang ikut serta di rangkaian acara Mobile Game Developer War – Jogja, mereka menjadi 3 besar pemenang di Jogja dan masuk tahap final di Jakarta dan akhirnya menjadi juara II dan mendapatkan hadiah sebesar 20 juta rupiah.

Event Report: Grand Final Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War 2011 dan Daftar Para Pemenang

Setelah pencarian finalis yang dilakukan oleh Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War di Bandung, Jogja, dan Jakarta beberapa waktu lalu, grand final diadakan pada hari Sabtu 4 Juni 2011 di fX Mall mulai jam 10 pagi dan dihadiri kurang lebih 200 orang pengunjung.

Acara yang diselenggarakan oleh CHIP dan Nokia serta didukung oleh Agate Studio, DigiGames dan HotGame ini dibuka dengan pemberian hadiah bagi para juara regional Jakarta lalu, disusul dengan sambutan dari Haryati Lawidjaja, Nokia Indonesia Head of Service dan Elwin Siregar, Direktur PT Gramedia Majalah.

Babak final ini mempertandingkan 9 tim yang terdiri dari: Tim Dramit – School Escape, Tim Hantu Digital – Hantu Digital, Tim Dongskar Pedongi – Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Tim OMG – Arjuna Sang Pemanah, Tim Enlight Games Studio – Waroeng Ekspres, Tim Sate – Too Much Satay, Tim Anonim – Malin Kundang, Tim Omah Games – Nakula Sadewa dan Tim Aksanesia – Aksara.

Event Report: Grand Final Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War 2011 and List of Winners

After competition and elimination process in Bandung, Jogja, and Jakarta, Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War held its grand final on Saturday June 4, 2011 at fX Mall starting on 10am. Over 200 people attended the event.

Competition held by CHIP and Nokia, supported by Agate Studio, DigiGames and HotGame was started by prize giving to Jakarta regional winners, followed by opening speech from Haryati Lawidjaja, Nokia Indonesia Head of Service and Elwin Siregar, Director of PT Gramedia Majalah.

This final stage was a war zone for 9 teams of: Team Dramit – School Escape, Team Hantu Digital – Hantu Digital, Team Dongskar Pedongi – Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Team OMG – Arjuna Sang Pemanah, Team Enlight Games Studio – Waroeng Ekspres, Team Sate – Too Much Satay, Team Anonim – Malin Kundang, Team Omah Games – Nakula Sadewa and Team Aksanesia – Aksara.

Finalists of Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War

Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War is entering final stage and will be held on June 4, 2011 in Jakarta. The event will present local game developers and is supported by Agate Studio, DigiGames, HotGame and DailySocial.

After 2 qualification rounds, now they have all the finalists they need. Previously committee provided opportunity for 3 additional finalists to complete the 6 finalists from 2 Mobile Game Developer War held in Bandung and Jogja.

The 3 finalists will compete against each other with other 6 finalists for a total of Rp 60 million Grand Prizes, by presenting their game application with live coding if they pass stage one.

Inilah Daftar Peserta Tahap Final Acara Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War

Acara Chip-Nokia Mobile Game Developer War yang telah memasuki tahap final dan akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 4 Juni 2011 di Jakarta. Acara yang menampilkan para pengembang game lokal ini juga didukung oleh Agate Studio, DigiGames, HotGame dan juga DailySocial.

Setelah panitia mengadakan dua tahap kualifikasi untuk memilih 3 pemenang, kini jumlah para finalis telah lengkap. Sebelumnya panitia membuka kesempatan untuk 3 finalis tambahan yang akan melengkapi 6 finalis dari dua acara Mobile Game Developer War yang telah diadakan di Bandung dan Jogja.

Tiga finalis ini akan bertanding bersama dengan 6 finalis lainnya untuk memperebutkan hadiah utama yang totalnya berjumlah 60 juta rupiah. Para peserta akan saling bersaing dan mempresentasikan aplikasi permainan mereka, lengkap dengan sesi live coding jika mereka lolos seleksi tahap satu.

Acara Final, CHIP – Nokia Mobile Game Developer War akan Segera Hadir

Rangkaian acara CHIP – Nokia Game Developer Camp dan Developer War akan segera memasuki tahap final. Acara seminar, workshop, developer camp dan developer war yang telah digelar di berbagai kota seperti Jogja, Surabaya, Bandung dan Jakarta kini akan memasuki acara puncak, tanggal 4 Juni 2011.

DailySocial juga mengikuti beberapa rangkaian acara yang digelar di berbagai kota ini, antara lain Bandung dan Jogjakarta. Hasil liputan bisa dilihat di tautan ini dan ini.

Kini waktunya untuk tahap final, 6 pemenang dari kota Jogjakarta dan Bandung akan bertanding dengan 3 pemenang yang mewakili Jakarta dan Indonesia untuk ‘berperang’ dan mempresentasikan aplikasi permainan mereka masing-masing plus sesi live coding dengan tantangan dan tingkat kesulitan yang lebih tinggi. Para finalis akan memperebutkan total hadiah sebesar Rp 60.000.000. Tahap final akan diadakan di fX Lifestyle X’nter – Jakarta pada tanggal 4 Juni 2011.

Be Ready for Final Event of CHIP – Nokia Mobile Game Developer War

The series of events CHIP – Nokia Game Developer Camp and Developer War is entering final stage. Seminar, workshop, developer camp and developer war held in various cities like Jogja, Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta will enter its final and closing event, on June 4, 2011.

Now it’s time for the final stage, 6 winners from Jogjakarta and Bandung will compete with 3 winners representing Jakarta and Indonesia to “go on a war” and present their game applications and a live coding with higher level of challenges and difficulties. The finalists will be competing for a grand total of Rp 60.000.000 prize. The final will be held at fX Lifestyle X’nter – Jakarta on June 4, 2011.
