Scoop for iOS Comes with New Look and Subscription Feature

Along with the introduction of Scoop’s new look for iOS, the newsstand service provides subsription feature for its users. As described in its official website, version 3.0 of this newsstand app which comes with a new look for iOS version – iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It also provides some new features.

Those features are shopping list, newspaper tab, manage collection, magazine subscription with 3, 6, or 12 month subscription option and cheaper price than buying it one issue at a time, although not all magazines have subscription facility. Another feature is Restore Purchase which is a facility for user to returned purchased magazine using Scoop ID. With Scoop ID, a user who has made ​​a purchase could integrate all the content that has been purchased, for example, if you buy content from Scoop for iOS, you can download it for free on Android version, and vice versa.

The new subscription feature puts this app on par with the Android version which already has the same facility. In the previous article, Willson Cuaca – CEO of Apps Foundry, the developers behind Scoop, says that the proportion of the income is dominated by iOS. We’ll find out in a few months whether the addition of the subscription feature will improve the revenue generated from his app.

Multiply Launched Its Newest Appearance

On October 5th, Multiply announced the change of the whole site appearance (standard appearance for users). This is in accordance with the development that has just done including its Multiply Commerce platform. Multiply Commerce now becomes the focus of their e-commerce activity.

The most significant change is the permanent navigation on the homepage. When you login to the Multiply account, this change will be seen on the menu on the top of the page and also the bar lengthwise consist of navigation options to see the inbox, marketplace, stock room, users’ sites and searching column. You may see the navigation for the shopping cart, account, help, log out, and posting shortcut above the bar. The posting option is for uploading blog, photos, and so on in one page.

MantelApp Released Their New Look and Features and Starts Applying Freemium Model

IdeaLounge, developer of MantelApp, released the new look for MantelApp.com. The collaborated application is now looking fresh with updated design element and some other changes related with user interface. Other than that, they also released new features and announced price for their service packages.

MantelApp, also the winner of SparxUp Award 2010 provide facilities for those who need to work in the same time with their relations, colleagues, or client. They can do their collaborated work on the same place, delegating work, downloading files, and discussing or writing status of their work on progress.

LintasBerita with Their New Appearance

As written previously in DailySocial (IND), LintasBerita finally applied their website’s new appearance fully after previously was only optional. Introduction for this new appearance was on the end of Deecember, and is now applied fully on the end of January.

The new appearance consists of three columns, with main column is LintasBerita’s contents in the middle, left column is for Category or Channels, and right column is for advertisement and weekly best news and most popular contributors.

Looking at screenshot from their previous new appearance’s preview, there are some differences in their appearance now applied, such as longer “News Flash” feature column, additional column on the right side consisting weekly best news, special column on the upper side for submitting news, and other different design element.
