Bidbox Offers New Online Experience in Car Purchasing

During the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2018 in ICE BSD City last week, a local online multi-brand car dealership introduced itself. Under Bidbox name, this platform allows potential buyers to purchase the dream car online. There are features to view car types, price comparison, cost simulation, bidding request, and scheduling test drive.

Bidbox platform tries to digitize potential buyers experience while in the usual showroom. Bidbox’s Founder & CEO, Michael, said its current database has over 1,300 car types, both passenger and commercial vehicles. Another thing Bidbox tried to solve is car purchasing installment.

Aside from partnering with installment payment solutions, Bidbox also offers financial service. It starts with 0% DP to be said. Bidbox is a subsidiary of PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk, Indonesia’s smart mobility company in the automotive industry which has been operating for over 30 years.

Currently, Bidbox has worked with some partners, including Mandiri Tunas Finance, Motor Vehicle Loans (KKB) BCA, Maybank, MPM Finance, BNI Multifinance, Mitsui Leasing, and other partners in insurance, workshops, and spare parts.

Bernama Bidbox, platform ini memungkinkan calon pembeli mobil idamannya secara online. Di dalamnya tersedia fitur untuk melihat jenis mobil, perbandingan harga, simulasi pembiayaan, permintaan tawaran hingga menjadwalkan untuk test drive.

Platform Bidbox mencoba mendigitalkan pengalaman calon pembeli ketika sedang berada di showroom mobil pada umumnya. Dituturkan Founder & CEO Bidbox Michael, di basisdatanya saat ini sudah ada informasi lebih dari 1300 jenis mobil, baik kendaraan penumpang maupun niaga. Hal lain yang coba diselesaikan Bidbox ialah soal cicilan pembelian mobil.

Selain menggandeng mitra pembiayaan kredit mobil, Bidbox sendiri juga menawarkan layanan pembiayaan. Konon dengan DP mulai dari 0%. Bidbox adalah anak perusahaan PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk, perusahaan smart mobility Indonesia di bidang otomotif yang sudah beroperasi lebih dari 30 tahun.

Setiap pembiayaan yang sudah terkonfirmasi akan dilakukan secara autopay, baik melalui kartu kredit atau pendebetan rekening tabungan. Untuk operasionalnya, saat ini baru optimal di kawasan Jabodetabek. Di luar wilayah tersebut, akan dilayani melalui mekanisme penawaran khusus (lebih manual).

Selain menjangkau kalangan konsumer, Bidbox juga merambah pangsa pasar bisnis untuk menyediakan kendaraan operasional perusahaan. Termasuk adanya program “Car Ownership”, yakni pembiayaan mobil untuk karyawan sebuah perusahaan.

Melalui aplikasi Bidbox, calon pembeli bisa mendaftarkan mobilnya untuk melakukan booking perbaikan dan perawatan kendaraan dengan pencatatan rekam jejak yang jelas. Pengguna juga bisa menikmati opsi trade-in di Bidbox untuk mendapatkan mobil baru. Opsi tersebut memungkinkan pengguna menukarkan mobil lama dengan mobil baru melalui mitra dealer dan mitra pembiayaan di Bidbox. Mobil yang masih dalam masa cicilan di Bidbox juga dapat ditukar tambah setelah cicilan berjalan selama 3 tahun.
