DailySocial loyal readers must know that the gaming industry development of in this country is growing rapidly. Last September in Yogyakarta, exactly on 12 September 2011, a community focused on learning and making a game called Hajinguk Project was formed.
Hajinguk Project has 12 participants consists of professionals, hobbyist, and students from several universities in Yogyakarta. This community began on 12 September 2011 and the first session ended on December 12, 2011 (3 months).
They recently released their first game, “Panic UFO Panic”. This game can be run on Nokia phone (with Symbian OS), and it’s already available in Nokia Store. “Panic UFO Panic” is done by two people; code and art work done by Frida Dwi a.k.a UBE (the initiator of Hajinguk Project) and Rizky Restu Mahesa Surakusumah as a game designer.
Panic UFO Panic is an arcade genre game. If you look at several screenshots and video explanation of this game, Panic UFO Panic has a simple game-play and it’s interesting enough. Player must survive by destroying all UFOs. They only simply touch the “UFO” then the “bomb” icon with same colour to destroy UFOs (you can blow three UFOs at one shot).
