Located on Level 7 fCone fX Senayan Jakarta, Intel Indonesia introduced a line of its newest processor that is a part of the second generation Core processors family. Using a name code Sandy Bridge, this processor family is technically using a 32-nm process technology, which is the distance between a transistor to another. There are new series of Core i3, i5, and i7 which are focused on helping users overall productivity, particularly for those related to multimedia.
The event began with a welcome speech from Debjani Ghosh, director of Intel Southeast Asia. He said that Indonesia is one of the PC market with the most rapid growth in the world. Of course, other than those related to productivity, mostly the use of PC is also connected to the Internet. Based on the survey that 40% of Internet consumption is related to multimedia, but we know that the Internet connection in Indonesia generally is not very fast.
