Apps Foundry began using its investment funds obtained from Gobi Partners and MGI to conduct a strategic partnership with Apple product-specific blog, MakeMac. The investment value isn’t reported but as mentioned by Penn-Olson, Apps Foundry will control a majority of ownership.
Kuswanto (MakeMac founder) will remain as advisor, while Sayz Lim is appointed as Chief Editor. MakeMac operational activity will be conducted by Apps Foundry. Nevertheless, Kuswanto has ensured that MakeMac policy direction will still be led by himself not by Apps Foundry. Kuswanto also confirmed that the acquisition was only associated with MakeMac and isn’t concerning with other business.
