VoucherBali Offers Local Bali Deals

Despite the fact that daily deals sites are closing down, that doesn’t stop entrepreneurs to keep building one. It’s not surprising that these people are still hoping for a good exit in Indonesia, which explains the growing number of these sites.

After the Groupon and LivingSocial acquisition, more activities on the daily deals area in Indonesia. The group buying phenomenon grows out side of Jakarta such as MbakDiskon in Jogjakarta and MurahRek in Surabaya. And now, VoucherBali is launched to do the same thing in Bali.

It just makes sense that the deals offered in VoucherBali is related to leisure, vacation and entertainment. But there’s also the usual deals like culinary, spa, hotel and holiday packages. But looking at the deals offered on the website, it’s quite clear that VoucherBali hasn’t got a good traction from customers. Some deals weren’t even touched and most have small amount of people redeeming after they went live last August.

VoucherBali also uses iPayMu as one of the payment option on the site, an interesting choice I might say, but not surprising because both iPayMu and VoucherBali is founded by the same person Rieke Ustadiyanto.
