Why I Haven’t Bought Any Daily Deals Promo Coupon Yet

DailySocial often review about various daily deals websites that are popping out everywhere lately. Most of them are considered as not less than groupon clones, although there are some which have different selling techniques. Each site must have its pros and cons, but what they offers are similar, which is the price promotion of an item or service that is more interesting than the regular price, whether it’s food, hotel services, or consumer goods.

There are sites that look interesting and segmented, but there are still less appealing appearance and still lack of the offering frequency. Each site had a different partner when they offer what they consider as interesting discounts or promotions. Then why have not I try to buy a daily deals promo coupon?

The main suspect is the products they are offering. There are one or two products that caught my attention, but I admit there are more things that less interesting to me. Maybe I am not its target market, but as someone who quite often do culinary tour and love to try new dining places, such as taking samples of the restaurants promo, I often passed the offerings. Perhaps I ignore 99% of every offer that comes into my email inbox.

I consider my taste pretty is moderate, but the daily deals promo for me is never as interesting as the credit card discounts promotion. Maybe you would say that it is unfair to compare daily deals site with a more established credit cards discount. But like it or not, daily deals promo has to dare to state that their promotion is as attractive as what the bank offers, or even take more spectacular themes in order to keep the daily deals grow. There should be a extravagant promotion collaborate with leading companies that (probably) could indirectly raise the interest for his side deals.

Why is there no movie coupon promo for two people including popcorn and lemon tea with “attractive price” or a package of exclusive dining in a famous franchise restaurant chain? Perhaps the benefits obtained from both promos are not much, because even without the promo, they will never lack of visitors. But it could help to increase visitor traffic and indirectly introduce other side deals promo.

I know it’s not easy to convince business owners to do promotions on the daily deals site that might be considered less bonafide than banks with its trillions capital. But how to gain trust and loyalty from the users if they are unable to convince the clients about the ability of the website to sell the promotions offered?

The second suspect is the ease of transaction. There are some sites which require certain amount buyers so that the promo can be activated. The next thing is you need to transfer some funds to get a coupon that will be sent via email and or SMS, that’s why I still do not feel comfortable with things like this.

I appreciate lapar.com which give flexibility of payment system that is integrated with BCA Internet Banking. I am even more pleased with the concept of Equinox Deals where consumers do not have to pay anything for promo except at the checkout. Simply bring your smart phone and all discounts will be immediately realized, this kind of process is close to the experience of using credit cards and it is supposed to be like that.

I am sure that this is a part of the daily deals site evolution. Later on, only those which capable to offer interesting products and provide easy transaction that will survive. At that time, I believe I would begin to take advantage of this promo.
